Here’s a full lineup of events to commemorate MLK Day:
Saturday, January 13
Road Rally Scavenger Hunt
📍 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center, 500 S. Stone Street

Kick off the weekend with a fun and educational Road Rally Scavenger Hunt. Bring the whole family and explore Spokane while learning about Dr. King’s inspiring life and achievements.
Sunday, January 14
MLK Service
📍 Holy Temple Church of God in Christ, 806 W. Indiana Avenue
🕒 3 – 5 p.m.
Join this special service celebrating Dr. King’s faith, leadership, and enduring message of love and hope.
Monday, January 15
MLK Day Rally and March
📍 Spokane Convention Center, 334 W. Spokane Falls Boulevard

Come together with the Spokane community to march for justice and equality. The annual rally and march are inspiring events that bring people together in unity and action.
MLK Day Resource Fair

Black History 101 Mobile Museum
📍 Spokane Convention Center
🕒 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Experience a powerful traveling exhibit showcasing over 7,000 artifacts representing Black history and culture.
MLK Day of Service: Empowerment Through Action Conference & Workshop
📍 Spokane Convention Center, Centennial Ballroom – 300 BCD
🕒 11:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Engage in workshops and discussions centered on social justice and community action. This event empowers participants to honor Dr. King’s legacy through meaningful service and learning.
Tuesday, January 16
MLK Teach-In – Black History 101 Mobile Museum
